    You can also post this question in the forum & get even more help. Put your location up in case anyone lives nearby & might come help you. You might be surprised & find some local jeepers to make new friends with.
    Battery sounds drained from cranking.
    If the distributor cap is submerged, it needs to be dried out. look for a product called wire drier. get your jeep out of the water, & spray that stuff under the cap then wait a few minutes & try jumpstarting it.
    You have any friends with a winch, or do you have a come-a-long hoist to get it out of the water?

    Failing that, you might be looking at bailing out the mudpit with buckets, until you can get the water level below the distributor.
