Can I Permanently Remove Stepper Motor?

When doing a Nutter Bypass, if my existing Carter BBD has a stepper motor, is it possible to fully remove the stepper motor and plug up the area where it was attached?
How would you do it?
Are additional modifications necessary?
Is there anything special to tuning the carb is the Stepper meeting pins no longer exist?

I haven’t done this myself but read you just unplug the motor. You pull out and set both screws / way. Then set your fuel O ratio with the pins.

I thought you had to set the stepper motor to a certain spot qhen doing the nutter bypass?

My earlier post is deleted??? I have not done this myself but understand you could leave the motor in and unplugged. Move the two motor valves by hand so they are equal snd about 1/2 way. Then adjust your air /fuel with the pins.

I read it doesn’t matter if they are both in or out. Most said both / way. Set them then use the pins to set the air fuel.

Again i have not done this but read a lot over the years.
