I thought it was interesting...but spent the majority of the time watching doors and lights that I would of taken get smashed. And yes i've got a xj...a rusty one at that....that those green doors would of looked sweet on mine...but anway. It was intersting to say the least.

I ended up buying a olympic bumper for my XJ from a wholesaler "desertrat" about a year ago. Good product, Just took forever for them to "drop" ship it from the factory. But when looking i found all kinds of homemade decent bumpers on ebay all from the same guy, which were roughly $150 plus...

Alright, I looked it over, and decided to buy it. It's either a 1978 or 79 (Seller did not have title yet, still waiting on DMV) with a 304 V-8 and and 3 speed manual. The floor boards are shot, allong with the driver's side "rocker panel"? The frame is in really really good shape, looks at...

Alright, well i've got a chance to buy a running 79 CJ with a V-8, that drives for $500. The only bad about it, is the tub is starting to rott out. I'm new to the CJ aspect, as I mainly play with XJ's. Just wondering if there are any things I should look for or something that i'm missing...

Hmm...looked it up I like it better then the ARB. Is there a lot of water getting in during a rain storm. It rains here a lot and i'm worried that I buy one of them and i end of changing a air filter every time it rains. thanks

They are about $10.00 from any auto parts store. As for putting them in, it can be a pain, but once you do it once from that point on they get easier. I had one put in at a shop, while on vacation and it cost between $75 and $90.00 I think. But if you decide to take on the task yourself...
