It was "originally" 20 gallons when the guy bought it in 91, so I didn't have to do the mod. Although I helped my buddy mod his 95 YJ with the "15" gallon tank. Shop was closed when I got home so I'll pick her up in the AM and hopefully it will all be good.

Weld the mirror relocation brackets right on there and screw (pun intended) the torx. That's what I did. Tried and failed on 2 of the torx then had the brackets welded on.

I have had the same results as Sparky!! I've put in 6 tanks and am at an avg of 20-21 mpg over the 17-18 mpg I typically got before the mod. Sweet love!
