    Hey guys. I need some help from some of you old jeepers. I have a '75 cj5 with the stock steering column. How exactly do I set up the horn to the steering column? I posted some pictures do you can see what I'm looking at. The first one is the horn wire just in case your wondering.

    So I found a little screw thing in the gauge hole took it out and it changed nothing. Then I squeezed the return line and problem solved!! So I'm gonna move the reg behind the filter with the return.

    Dang the thread sealant may be blocking the gauge.... I didn't even think of that. I'll check it tomorrow.

    Yah it runs. What do you mean by backed out? Too close to the carb? And yes I have an electric fuel pump and the pressure that it delivers is too high. That's why I need a reg.

    So I have installed a fuel pressure reg with a gauge. My prob is that the gauge I'd not reading at all. I attached a picture of what I'm looking at, let me know if you know what might be wrong.

    Could just be that you lost the connector between the t-case gears and lever. Was it in 4wd when this happened? If so, get a buddy to watch the front shaft and see if it moves( if your lifted high enough). if it doesn't move then you may be f-ed, you'll have to pull it out to look at it. If it...

    Check that vacuum hose for cracks. If it was anything to do with the timing you would see problems even when the engine is warm. Also replace that map sensor and see if anything changes if the hose doesn't do it for you.

    Ok that all sounds good about the liquid filled gauges but won't it be affected more by the heat. The gauge will be in the engine bay.
