I recently swapped t/cs and now the 4x4 light comes on when i shift into reverse?, and not when im in 4x4:???:. There is only one plug on the t/c and only one way it can go right? anybody ever had this prob or no how to fix it? thanks

lol i agree elevator. the 4 banger doesnt get much slower but it is a good ride if just use for weekends, around town, or mild 4wheeling. if you have to drive a lot of interstate miles i would suggest passing on the 2.5 unless you like to be passed! :)

also is there anything on the outside to look at to make sure he knows what hes got? mine is still in the jeep but his is out?

hey i read one of your posts on transfer cases that said late model cherokees have the same t/cs as wranglers. I have a 1997 TJ with a 4 banger, so a 89 cherokee np231 should be the same?

what kind of rocker guards are those on 88s jeep, and where do you get them?

I agree mud. best off showroom 4x4 ever! Before last week i would have said 66-77 Bronco but got a 2000 TJ last week that has really changed my mind!

i posted ealier about my soft doors not fitting real well. i found a set of super doors for like 150. does anyone know if the top part will fit a factory hard door. the guy selling them didnt know. also is that a good deal?

thanks crazy. I think mine do look a little worn. ill try that, and maybe bend on it a little too:) yeah the scout was a monster, i had to change the lifters in it and i bet the upper intake alone weighed 75lbs!

i got cut off on my last post. yeah, i thought my yj had channels for the soft door to slide into, but the tj just falls into the guides and nothing else attaches it? my does not fit well so should i assume the frame is bent on the soft door? thanks for the advice!
