My u-joints are shot & I need to replace them... but I'm not sure what it's gonna take. I've got basic hand tools/no air tools :-( just trying to get an idea if I can do this in a few hours or will it take longer.

Was the engine a swap? CJs never came with the 4.0 (242 ci), they came with the 4.2 (258 ci) in the 80's. I'm not sure parts are interchangeable.

I've got the tail lights hooked up correctly, I don't know if matching white LEDs will provide enough light while backing up.

The lights I've installed are oval stop/turn/tail lights. I'm looking at installing reverse lights but don't want to waste money on lights that don't throw enough light.

Most of what I'm seeing shows three wires for the reverse lights (red/+, black/- & white/ground)... but the harness only has one wire designated for the reverse lights (purple/black) how do I make the connection?

Ok, so I just installed some LED stop/turn/tail lights & my lovely lady was asking about reverse lights. Are LEDs bright enough to do the job? How would I go about hooking them up to the factory harness? I only want the stock function, I don't care about turning them on when not in reverse. All...

I had the ground wires fail so I have no rear lights right now :'( the leds have been waiting & I guess there's no better time than now

looking to install these but electrical isn't my strong suit. Do I just need to replace the flasher or do I need to install a resistor in line?

I just installed the Teraflex SS SYE on my '05 TJ. It was simple enough to do it without removing the 231 from the Jeep. My biggest words of advice would be to LET THE RTV DRY BEFORE FILLING WITH ATF!!!
