    I just got tired of the stuff real fast. Plus the stuff i had bought turned out to not be ok to use if you use an additive and i have limited slip in the rear. But the bottle didn't say that, their website did.

    I'll get right on that, boss. :D So I removed the cover pulled the cap out and put the cover back on with the lubelocker. So far so good.

    It's not a good idea to drive your jeep in 4wd on pavement, since pavement does not allow the wheels to slip as you go around corners. So what are the symptoms you are experiencing? Grinding?

    Niice. I don't have one yet, either. I don't even have a bench vice. I just go to the school where I took auto tech, and use their tools. There are advantages to being a good student. :D

    There is no fluid in the diff, when i went to fill it, the cap fell in. So maybe a drop of fluid went in. I ordered some lubelockers because I am coming to find out how much I hate silicone, and it turns out the stuff I bought can't be used with diffs that use an additive.(Which it doesn't say...

    Last resort: shop press. That will get it out. :D Might explode(I speak from experience) so be prepared.

    So I got everything done with my front differential, got my new axle shafts in, i put my aussie locker in, got the new diff cover all sealed up and on there, went to fill up the diff(which is the only thing left to do) and the cap from the oil bottle falls in... So my question, which is stupid...

    Just checking. & with these u joints you use the hammer & socket method, correct? I'm just verifying everything before I mess something up. (sorry for the newbie questions.:redface:)
