i agree with steal. if you can throw it into neutral and it goes away. its got to be in transfer case or trans. the diff and driveshaft are always rotating so it should always vibrate if its one of those.

personal preference really, but i would check seals on both jeeps, ie.. rear main, trans., transfer case, pinion. replacing that stuff is tedious and could get expensive. offer him 3800 for the blue one and problem solved:shades: i know it sayf firm, but few things really are. cash talks!

the transfer case bracket is used to adjust your linkage when you lift the body. the linkage is attached to the body so when you lift it you put it in a bind. yeah i would stay away from a big body lift also, and if you just do one inch it will be a lot easier to install.( no transfer case...

finally got it. those sorry suckers at chrysler put a bolt on the dust cover you cant see above the dust cover. lol the grease on the throwout bearing was toast. hoping thats it. anyway the clutch had a lifetime warranty and it will be in wed. thanks steel

any tricks to gettin the trans out? iv got all the bolts out and i know it needs to be in line but this thing is stuck. i had to take a break and going to see if anyone had done this and new a trick. my next step is to put a come along on it!

frame and suspension are good. i had them checked already. i have found a tub close to me for 400 in great shape. the tub is an 05. it should fit but utah said something in an earlier post about trans tunnel clearance.

yeah it did drive real bad so i passed on it. he also said a customer broke one of the axle shafts sat and pulled it out of the hub. felt like it was lifted to the moon and swayed real bad. i believe im gonna let someone else deal with it.
