    Unusual brake issue

Agree with superj. So this happens while driving without stepping on the brake. Or is it afterthe brske is applied it stays there? Is the pedal any harder or softer? And once overheated the rotor or drum will cause the pulsating. It could be a glide is dry ir bent. One of your pads may be...

    Better adhesive removing solvent?

You could use a terrycloth towel or washcloth. Something with a bit of thickness. Using a clothes iron if you do not have a heat gun. Then iron the towel over the glue. Just be sure the towel is thick enough and iron not so hot to ruin the paint. The softening glue will stick to the towel...

The 2 deg is for axel wrap that happens with leaf springs. You dont have leafs and dont need 2 deg. However the 2 deg will keep the bearings moving and keep from wearing funny. Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up - Jesse Jackson

Getting this old track bar out of the XJ

I find it hard to believe the nut rusted to the sleeve. The bolt is a lot smaller than the sleeve. I typically tell people to get the largest bolt to minimize potential movement. Heat the bolt and smack it with a hammer or pneumatic hammer. If the flag broke loose you should be able to get a box...

    Serpentine Belt issue

Is it narrower compared to the old belt? Also compare the ridges spacing, not just the width. Also, in your picture, it looks like you have it misaligned on one of the pulleys, which may result in it wandering around Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up - Jesse Jackson

I have some what is this questions

Depending on what you mean by going into the headlamp harness, it could be one of two things. First, it could be powering a set of off-road lights or fog lights that will only come on when your headlamps are on. Many people install relays directly to the headlights to improve the brightness of...
