Hi, my girlfriends jeep (97 grand cherokee) is stuck in 4wd and the shifter will not move. I've tried it in neutral, going in reverse, going forward, and going around a corner...but the shifter wont even move off of 4wd. I took a quick look underneath and it looked like the linkage was hooked...
