I fixed it! Ran a torch tip cleaner through the idle tubes (had to remove the venturi cluster first). Felt no real resistance pushing the wire. Didn't think there was a chance in hell that what I did would actually fix it. But it did! I'm not carburetor wise. Thanks for the replies, It's...

Hello everyone! I'm new to the jeep comunity and have a carb problem on a 4.2 carb, 90 yj. Is it a typical problem that the solenoid for the idle needle fails? jeep runs fine except at idle. un-plugged the electrical for the solenoid and no change. thanks in advance
