SORRY I AM TALKING ABOUT THE SKIP PLATE TO MOUNT THE TRANSMISSION ON.

The frame on the 1979 CJ7 is Rotted , I have a none rotted 1985 CJ7 Frame that i sand blasted and POR15 It which i am using.

I am using everything from 1979 CJ7 but the 6 Cyclinder motor, MY question is with the SKID PLATE for the transmission and quadra track,

Will it mount to the 1985 CJ7 Frame or do i have to weld brackets on it to support it and get the driveshafts all lined up-

There are a few nuts on the 1985 frame underneath but i don't think the flex plate will mount correctly
for the transmission.- I guess i just have to line it all up and see-

First Picture is the 1985 CJ7 Frame

Thx

Chevy 350 is zero balance flex plate. You might need a torque converter and an adapter for the engine to transmission. You might consider a chevy transmission with overdrive
