1995 YJ 2.5 Compression Test...

Hi Guys,

Just finished a complete rebuild on a 1995 YJ 2.5l. I did a compression check right after I installed the engine into the truck. No intake/exhaust manifolds were installed during the compression test, The compression test was completed dry. Here are the numbers...

#1 - 150 psi
#2 - 150 psi
#3 - 150 psi
#4 - 135 psi

Before the rebuild, #4 had the problem and there was 0 psi on #4 before the rebuild. A sleeve was installed into that cylinder.

Are these compression #'s okay?

you are right at 10 percent differential.
You should be alright.
Did you test it more than once?
