2000 Jeep Wrangler 2.5 litre

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5 litre engine with automatic transmission. Just purchased this wonderful looking machine, the engine is blown. I was wondering if there are interchangeable engines in the 2.5 litre that would work besides the AMC-Jeep lb4, having a hard time finding one of these and just wondered if I could use a different 2.5 litre with SOHC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If not, I guess will have to purchase a remanufactore engine. A beefy build up is out of the question just want another 2.5 to put in. Thanks

I know of no other engine that will bolt in. Try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for engines in your area.
