2001 tj clutch pedal problems

The retainer that holds the clutch pedal and the piston to the master cylinder (a little plastic piece) has become a thorn in my side and let's it come apart in the most in opportune times. No one seems to know what I'm talking about at the jeep dealer. Any one know where I can get one???
