Hi.
My 2007 JGCL electrical problem is erratic and unpredictable. The dash lights and warnings flash on and off for what seems to me as no reason. Sometimes it works fine and other times it goes haywire. When it's going haywire, if I pull over and turn the engine off and then back on again it - most of the time - fixes the problem and on my way I go. Other times I have to do this a few times and then all is well. The headlights flash at the same time as the dash. When this is happenings heater pulses as well. Sometimes the check engine light stays on for a few trips / days then goes away. I am going to start with the ignition switch (from what I've read) and go from there. Sometimes the problem occurs when I have weight in the car... Like a full load? Maybe even a full tank of gas. Trying to avoid going to dealer / stealer as we know how that goes and I'm out of warrantee. Happy to go to my local mechanic.
Sorry if I'm sounding naive but hey...
Feel free to ask me any other questions I might not be thinking about - etc.
Open to any and all suggestions - Thanks
Dave
