2010 Jeep Wrangler automatic will go in gear but won't move

Today was drive normal and fine then came to stop and right before it stopped felt a little jerk. Thenget it gas and nothing , put it in reverse nothing it just revs but no movement until later revs it to 3000 tons and it started forward. Even in neutral with the car on you can't even push it. But if you turn the car off while in neutral you feel it release and it will rolll ... trans fluid is good ... any ideas

No help here. I hate trans problems and haven't worked on an auto trans

Does that model have a transfer case? If so, is it in neutral?

It is rear wheel drive and so no transfer case and acts tge same as in neutral as in any other gear
