hey guys i have probaly a easy one for ya,... i just removed the wiring harness from my jeep doors and when i drive and park somewhere i remove the key but the rdio stays on ...jeep thinks the doors are syill closed.. i know that the radio shuts off after a few mins but i was wondering if there is another way around just waiting for it to cut off

Key-on....key-off....key-on....put it in neutral....key-off....key-on......push the radio power button 3 times.......put in back into park.......key-off. Problem solved. It might take a few times to get the pattern down, but it works. LAter

Is the dome light on, too? Sounds like it may a fuse that has to be pulled like on the TJ's.

Either that or you can a product called "lights out". Looks like a mini barbell clamp but goes over the door pin.

You should turn it off no matter what.Less strain on the battery when starting up.There is also the possibility of a voltage spike that can damage the radio if it is on.
