Hi all, hoping to get some answers here. While driving its seems to hesitate or almost chug, but doenst do it all the time. Some drives it does it multiple times at multiple speeds, other times wont do it at all. No lights come on and nothing comes up when the computer is scanned! Seemed like bad gas symptoms so addressed that but still does it. Took it to couple mechanics and dealer and say hard to diagnose if it doesnt do it while driving (and of course it doewnt when they are in it. It was runed up couple months ago. It has also stalled couple times usually when going slow or stopped (and ac was on).

Could you check if it is the same pedal position?
Once it occurs either let off the gas or step on it more to see if it continues.
Report back.

It speeds up fine and sometimes does it after when im going faster (like 45). Just does it for second then drives normal.

So is it the same pedal position?
As you press the skinny pedal do you hit a spot where this happens? If it is a spot where you press the gas and nothing happens then you press more and the engine jumps to catch up there is a specific cause.

If it happens when the engine hits a specific temperature it is another different cause.

If it is random there can be many causes.

Its random. Like today, didnt do it at all.

Random is difficult.
Id start with cleaning the battery contacts and the opposite ends of the power and ground points. Inspect battery wires for corrosion.
Next load test the battery.

Check oil for milk shake due to water.
Check coolant for oil or exhaust gasses.

Then check the fuel pressure. At idle and 3k rpm should be steady at both.

Verify connectors on the TPS and IAC

You have a scanner check the O2 responses.

By chance what rpm do you idle at?
