i have an 81 cj7 that had the 151 in it. i switched in a 258 (that i believe is from a 1982) scrambler. i got the bellhousing and clutch linkage from a guy i know to bolt up the SR4. well, it turns out that i had to move the transfer case/transmission crossmember to the rear about 2 inches. i just couldnt get it to fit. is there anyone who has this stock configuration that could get the actual length of their bellhousing to see if i have the right one? any information will help. thank you
