I´ve never done it to a Jeep, but did have a 3/4 ton Dodge with 36´s and 4.11 gears. Was kind of a dog in low gear, wouldn´t run right, at less than about 1800-2000 RPM (peak torque 2200) and I´m pretty sure you could forget about high gear. Another thing was, when I´d want to stop that thing, from highway speeds, I often felt like I wanted an anchor with me to throw out (forget about panic stops). 3/4 ton brakes where pretty HD but not really up to the job. Finally changed to 33´s 15.50 TSL´s, ran just fine, and pulled a whole lot better in low.[addsig]
