4 low

So I noticed this passed weekend that my 4 low doesn't lock in place. Is there anything i should look at before i take it to the shop to get checked out? 2002 tj

If it pops out it could be miss adjusted. Do you have a t case drop or anything.

I'm not sure. Should just be stock transfer case

It could be the rods not in place due to your bushings worn out on the shifter. I gave to tap with a hammer to make sure that I'm in 4 Low all the way.

80 CJ-7 350 on propane. TH400. Dana300. Detroit truetrac front and back. 33"Copper STT

climb under and check it out. mine has zero problems going into any of the t/c settings now but i had to adjust the linkage when i got it
