82 cj7 blinker

My driver side blinker works fine but the passenger side blinkers light up but wont blink, anybody out there have any ideas to fix this? Thanks, jrodfox

Do you have a bulb out or maybe a bad ground?

Rare occasions the TS Flasher goes bad.I,d go bulb first make sure you check your side marker light

Thanks for all the help. It looks like the ts switch itself in the steering column is broken, but how do I get the cover off the steering column? Its a tilt column and automatic.

Start by removing the steering wheel, steering wheel lock plate and lock ring, disconnect the wiring connector under the column(Long flat connector) then you can access the screws on the turn signal switch assembly and remove the switch. My suggestion is to tie a piece of wire onto the wiring connector on the bottom of the column(switch side) so when you pull out the switch and wiring you can tie the new one onto the wire and help feed the wiring down into the steering column tube.

Well at least we hoped it was a easy fix

Well, thanks for the help, got it changed out tonight, the turn signal switch was cracked where the lever bolts to it
