N NW Jeep New member Mar 13, 2008 #1 I own an 88 Jeep Cherokee and it is overheating. We have replaced the Thermostat, Radiator and Water Pump and it is still overheating. This is a closed system. Any suggestions... Thanks

Also jack up the rear of the jeep and remove the temp sending unit at the rear of the head to get all the air out of the system. A swap to an open cooling system from a newer XJ is a good upgrade.
