Ok, My 2.5 was starting to bog down till finally she died. I checked the fuel lines and there was no gas getting to the engine. I dropped the gas tank and replaced the fuel pump. I turn the key on to prime, hear the pump turn then go to crank, she cranks but doesn't turn over. I checked to make sure, she is getting gas to the engine.
What can I check to get her to turn over and start?

Sorry, is It carbed, throttle body, or injection?
This is a question well worth asking since it makes a difference what kind of connection needed to be made to check fuel pump pressure and each system mentioned will have different connections to be made for a pressure tester to be hooked up. Of course Tison78_CJ5 will go on to say to check ignition for good spark too since this was not posted that it was checked . I know he would and spark and fuel are first to check for with no starts . Once it is found which system is the problem then we can go on to find why there is poor or no spark or poor fuel pressure or no pressure for example.

I checked the spark, I have spark. This is a TBI. The gas coming through the line kinda smells like bad gas. I have fuel pressure.

Ok , if the spark is strong and the injector is spraying a nice pattern then maybe the fuel is less than a volitile mix ? If you can drain the tank and purge the lines of what fuel is in it now , I would say to,try some fresh gas but be sure it's not stale from storage . I,would say try some octane boost but I'm questioning the quality of the fuel. If the engine dosen't even sound like it is trying to,start even with new fresh fuel , then this is not typical . Do,you know if the compression is good and the timing is on ? You'll want to be sure the timing chain did not skip .

Did you hook the lines back up properly? They are not accidentally crossed now, right?
