91 wrangler temp gage going crazy!

Ok so yesterday I installed my new radiator an everything went great . Except I noticed that my temp gage is reading accurate but when I drive an hit a bump or rough spot in the road it goes crazy the needle goes back an forth real fast but then it settles down an goes back to reading normally. Any hints?

Sounds like a bad ground / wiring to the gauge to me.

I agree it could be the temp sender. I believe you have 2 one in the thermo housing and one neat the firewall on the driver side. This one at the firewall is the one to the gage. ,it has a single wire and the block is ground.
