94 GC Laredo Vibration??

Hi all. Haven't been here for awhile but glad to be back. Anyway I need some ideas please. I'll start from the begining, I added the BDS 2" lift with the longer shocks and 30" tires. Drove for a while before getting the allignment done. Alignment is done and I was told everything looked good and tight. I have a vibration and tracking issues. I have changed the steering stabalizer which seems to have solved the tracking but still have a strange knocking sound and some vibration at highway speed, more knock when turning right then left??? Could I have damaged something driving it before getting the alignment done? I was planning on getting the balance checked on all the tires thought mabey I threw a weight. Also my power steering seems to build up pressure as it heats up, sounds like a pop bottle when you open the cap. Not sure if these problems are related or not, I'm going to drain and flush the system and replace the fluid. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Check to see if you have CV joints or ujoints in the front axleshafts. Sounds like one or both may be going bad.

As for the vibration, it's likely the front pinion angle is off. The alignment shop likely put the caster back to spec without accounting for proper pinion angle. You'll need to take it back to the alignment shop and have them remove a small amount of caster to improve the pinion angle. Caster should be 5*-8*, I believe you want to be closer to 5* for proper pinion angle and no vibes.

Is your GC fulltime 4wd?

Ya it's fulltime 4wd, nice in the winter but a hog on gas lol. I'm not sure what the alignment shop set everything at but I will look into it for sure.

Well I think it may be bad U-Joints in the front drive shaft. The one closes to the transfer case seems to be toast. Not sure if its worn enough to cause my vibration but I'll know as soon as I change them
