96 zj lift gate ajar switch

help can not locate the lift gate ajar switch for grand cherokee i have the book but still can not locate it :shock:

I think it's part of the Latch assembly. If you remove the Liftgate door panel and look at the latch there should be an ajar switch and the powerlock actuator.
