 Recently when applying the brakes. Ive been getting a pulsation in the pedal it seems to to rattle the whole front end and at times will knock you teeth out.I've noticed when the key is put in the on position that, that light for the abs does not come on or even after the the Jeep is started. And i cant ever remember it comeing on for 3 seconds after the engine is started.Air bag light works. Its a 2000 Cherokee limited with a 4.0.Someone suggested new tires since there almost to the wear bars. But the won't make the light work.Any idea's short of fixing my 2dr 4.0 feul injected 88 with the 6" lift.

I could see warped rotors but it comes and goes.doesent the abs light come on for 3 seconds when it runs a system check when you start the jeep. Thanks for your input Bounty-Hunter

JK, i too have a 2000 XJ limited. i recently purchased it and i have the same rattling pulsation problem u speak of. i have yet to do anything about it. hopefully someone has conquered this issue before and/or has some ideas...

ITs going to to the shop in two weeks I just dont want to spend $500. for a fuse.Good luck jaypeakrida

gas mileage?

thanks man. what are you getting for gas mileage, jk? im revamping my tire and suspension setup and im sure my 19mpg average is soon to change.

RE: cherokee leaf packs

first thing to check is all the fuses... the ABS light does a self test at power up.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Jeepy!!!

Jaypeakrida Im getting 21mpg running up and down the mountains of upstate N.Y 25 hwy. IM running with the stock suspension (for-now) and Im riding on 225/75/16's.

graewulf-thought about a fuse but the panel is not marked guess I could pull them one at a time or spend the $180 for the service manual.$90 for the CD.Thanks for your input.
