I got hit on Dec 18th after another 2 car accident decided that it needed a 3rd.
Well, the collision center quoted my insurance around $9k to fix. I got the breakdown of costs & I was shocked at how much they have my stock oem "step pad" or slider listed for. $2610 just for the left side slider. I feel like somebody's pockets got lined. The collision center contacted me & said that the sliders are on national back order (I think that this style only came on the Recon edition JK/JKU Rubicon) & that they're going to reinstall my "damaged" slider because they don't see the slider being shipped anytime soon. Personally, I don't think my slider was damaged in any way & all I do is smack them on rocks & trees anyway. I reached out to my insurance & asked to just be reimbursed because for $2600, I could buy much better sliders... or a lift... or a roof rack...
