I bought my 2015 Jeep Renegade brand new. Within 2 years, the air bag warning light started coming on. I took it to the dealer, spent the whole day waiting for them to figure out why the light came on. They finally got it to go off. Few months later, same thing happened. This year, it's happened twice as well. Obviously, something's not right. Has anyone out there had this problem? It's a safety issue because once the air bag warning light comes on for service, the air bag will NOT deploy if you're in an accident.
AND, now that my Jeep is no longer under warranty, I have to pay $250.00 each time I have to take it back to the dealer for them to "diagnose" the (same) problem! Grrr....I don't think I should have to pay for an issue that I have no control over and is a MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE.
Wondering if anyone else who owns a Renegade has had this problem?
