airbag light stays on after starting

It doesn't do it all the time but when I start my jeep the airbag light stays on and the radio doesn't come on. I'll shut it down and it goes away. I have a 1997 jeep wrangler 4 cylinder plz help

When you shut it down and the airbag lamp extinguishes after a self test, does the radio turn on then?. If it does, i would suspect that the issue is in the ignition wiring or connector.

I have to turn the ignition off then turn back on sometimes it solves the problem and sometimes it won't

Remove the upper and lower steering column covers. Wiggle the wires to the ignition slowly one by one and see if it's one of the wirings on the ignition switch.

Sometimes the sensor goes bad. Had it happen on other cars.

I found out what it was. The key was getting stuck on the start position and wouldn't recoil back. So simple
