AMC 20 bearing problem

Hi. I have a 80 CJ-7 with the AMC diff. The driver side keeps on breaking wheel bearings. Anyone else have had this problem. Thks

Never had a problem with the bearing, but I know when the axle snaps its usually on the drivers side. Could be the axle tube is bent and it's putting stress on the bearing. Amc 20's are notorious for weak axle shafts and tubes

Every AMC 20 that i've been around that has repeated trouble with axle bearings has been because the housing has some form of damage. Twisted or bent axle tubes.
