Any non-smokers out there want to part with an ashtray for a '94 YJ? I'm not new to 4-wheelin', I owned a Toyota 4wd PU (1985) with 275,000 miles on it, and I swear 150,000 of that was in the mud! I am new to Jeeps, though. Just bought my YJ and am waiting for the fun to begin. I know I'll be back here looking for more stuff as it comes along, but for now, I just need a dashmount ashtray in black. Also, if anyone has a safari top, I need one of those......summer will be here before we know it!
 

non-smoker here, but a TJ driver....welcome to the boards though
 
Welcome! I just sold that thing a couple of weeks ago, but I'm sure you'll find one in no time. Don;t forget to check eBay.com . You'll find almost anything on there for your jeep.-al

Ok...let me know how much shipping is.....yeah, that's all I need right now. Of course, I just bought the thing a few weeks ago to satisfy my mid-life crisis (must be that, I know it isn't my second childhood, because I never got out of my first childhood), I'm sure as time goes on I'll be wanting more, more, more! Owned my first Toyota 4wd for 18 years, sold it last fall, and was dying to get back into another 4wd, and of course Jeep is the only way to go! :wink:

Cool...that pic looks just like mine, only higher....and bigger tires....and without all that other stuff....well....dang...mines a YJ, anyway! :lol: Yeah, and I'll get to the rest of that stuff sooner or later....don't we all?

Just a question, probably the wrong thread, but how much does a simple, sturdy lift cost, and what's the best kind of lift? I never lifted my Toyota, never had much need to, since most of my 4-wheeling in Kansas is mud, snow and sand.
 

To be honest, I looked for it this weekend for like 5 minutes then the wife had me doing something else, sorry about that, she likes to NAG, but I know I have it! I moved back in June and I am 100% positive that I have it, But it is just the ash tray, not lighter or anything else. It is just the tray. do you need the entire assembly, cause I don't want to send you somehting when you need more. Oh ya, it is grey colored. If you need the entire assembly, I would advise Ebay, thats where I got this one.

Again sorry to make you wait but it is the Misses Fault!!

No hurry....yeah, all I need is just the tray. Everything else is still there. I think the previous owner removed it to install the stereo. Man....you'd think a Jeep owner would be more interested in other upgrades rather than just obtaining an ashtray, wouldn't you? Well, I do plan to quit smoking....about 2 days before the autopsy! :lol:
 
I smoked for 10 years and then just quit cold turkey one day. once butts started costing $5.00 a pack, I was like, thats enough!

I will try to look when I get home!!
 

Bad news man, I looked for about two hours yesturday, I can't seam to find it. If you really want one, and can wait till it is a little warmer out, I'll give you the entire unit out of mine. I was planning on taking it out in the spring anyways.

No problem! Man, it was like, 68 degrees here yesterday!! Finally got to drop the top and cruise.....it was sooooo awesome!!!!!!!!
 

Thanks...I found that one on another Jeep supply site....it is cheaper than the dealer ($51.99), but too high priced for me....I've got a cheapy cup-holder type that I paid $2.99 for, and it will work for the time being.......

out the window is the best place man. i just quit smoking. (ok so i still cheat here and there), but when i smoked, right out the window, that way you dont get ash all over the inside around the ash tray. so instead i picked up dipping....cleaner....in a way. just as long as you dont spill the cup.
