Axle shafts

So I broke my first axle shaft and am looking at upgrades. I've looked at the USA Alloy chromoly shafts and they look like they'd be just fine. Then a buddy of mine told me to check out RCV shafts. Price looks about the same so have to ask, Is anybody running them? Any comments likes dislikes? Like I said the price is pretty much equal so I'd go either way.

if you can swing the price, RCV's all the way. They carry a no question asked life time warranty, I've seen D30 RCV's with 37" red label krawlers get absolutly tooled on.

Personally, depending on how much your willing to spend and how much you want to upgrade, I would skip the D30 RCV's and just invest in a bolt in D60 or something compatable

The price for the Alloys are from National four wheel drive and the price for the RCV's is from the RCV website. Haven't contacted them yet though but the prices were within 100 bucks.

Dana 30 RCV's should run about $950-1050 depending on who you get them from.

Dana 30 alloy shafts should be between $500-600; superior being on the lower end and alloy USA being the higher.

even if you run 300M joints or ctm joints; your still only at about $850 for the alloys; but those are nearly $300 joints.
