ball joints & u-bolts

Planning to try and tighten up the front end on my 79 cj was wondering if anyone know of any stronger heavy duty ball jionts and u-bolts??



also switching to a borgson steering shaft & energy suspension bushings any other ideas on what i could do to freshin up the front end????

Ya Tug....thats what I been doing

....but i plan to add some type of lift more than likely an SOA with at least 33's maybe 35's so i just want to get everything tightend up to handle the bigger tires[addsig]

I was just pulling your leg, You are on the right track! Get a friend to get in to the drivers seat and shake twist trun and really work the steering wheel and you get down there under the jeep and just touch and feel and look and listen to see what seems to be causeing the problem. If that does not work go in to a quality front end shop and ask for a free inspection fo find out what it is going to cost to get you on the road again only safely. then go home and do all or most of the repairs yourself.
