R RudeDogg New member May 4, 2011 #1 03 tj Rubicon- My blower motor is shot. I know it's above the passengers feet, but how do I get it out? I see no screws. There is a red tab at the base, but I know that's for the power hook up. How do I open it?

SteelHeadz Super Moderator May 4, 2011 #2 Unplug the blower motor wire harness connector (HVAC Blower Motor - Typical). Release blower motor retainer-locking tab and rotate blower motor counterclockwise. Remove blower motor from the HVAC housing.

J jps4jeep Super Moderator May 4, 2011 #3 are you ositive it's the blower motor, TJ's are fairly notorious for the blower motor resistor switch failing.
