This was my first attempt at water transfer printing.

Has anyone ever tried this I think I almost have it but I keep getting spots that don't stick

I've seen videos of it, but never tried it myself. It does look pretty slick though

I just tried it again after sanding it all off last night it looks real good this time the key is letting the activator set for 15 sec witch is hard it looks as tho your film is sinking oh and dipping really slow

Do you think it will last as long as paint?

Yeah it's the same just base coat clear coat I got primer and clear from a buddy that has a paint and body shop he thinks it's the same also

I just bought it on eBay I dipped a welding hood tonight

I think I'm going to dip my fender flare also there all faded and look old

I have notice that moisture in the air makes the film wrinkle and when you try to use it there is air bubbles that keep it from sticking to your part

That looks sweet. There's a guy here in N.GA. that does that too, Deer skulls with antlers,guns, knives,etc. Never thought about jeep parts though. Very cool.:shades:

Yeah I just wish I had a tank it's hard to do in bathtub I think I found one for 1300 if I can just get it shipped here not sure how I would unload it tho
