my yj just doesn't like the warm weather!!!! i got it in dec. ran fine through the winter after rebuilding the s**tty Carter BBD, threw in new fuel & air filters, took it to jeep dealership to have the vac lines re run correctly cause the person who did the install of the new engine did a piss poor job and being new to jeeps i didn't want to try to make it any worse than it was. the few warm days that we have had the jeep runs very slugish ever since i put in the lift. it will sometimes idle fine and the drive ok, and then all of a sudden when you stop a red lights or slow down to turn she quits. starts back up and keeps going but has major loss of power. what can i check or fix or ..........need some recomendations besides throwing out the crappy carb.

thanks, Ray[addsig]

Well the first thing that hits me is, have the diagnostics ran on your rig, it may be something as simple am bad sensor. Something else could be as simple as moisture under the cap, or in the intake assembly. But I would get it to the OlllllO doctor, stat. Good luck and have fun.. 8-) [addsig]

Might be a catalytic converter choking off your engine. does the exhaust sound a little funny?
