Can't get out of 4H with new cable shifter

Just installed a novac cable shifter on my tj this morning, now I can't use anything but 4H. When I try to go into 2H the shifter/transfer case will not engage. When I try 4L the shifter binds like it did with my "Z" linkage.

Thinking about playing with adjustments but there is VERY little slack.

Any thoughts?

Not familiar with that shifter but was the initial adjustment per the instructions? Does it instruct you to adjust the linkage to engage 4lo initially as with the stock shifter?

I kept the shifter and xfer case in 2H per the instructions. Had similar problems with the old linkage due to the lift,it would bind and disengage.I'm wondering if the new shifter needs fine tuning or xfer case has problems.
