I have a YJ and I'm not sure where I can mount my CB. Right now I have it mounted in the little space under the front cup holder of my console. I don't have it hooked up and haven't mounted the antenna. where should I mount the CB and the antenna??? what kind of mount should I use to mount the antenna? I bought a ball mount and a flat one that is supposed to go on a rod or a mirror. Any help would be greatly appreciated.[addsig]

I had my cb mounted under my dash but didn't like where it was. I had my antenna mounted on the tire bumpstop. My cb is no longer in my jeep, but the mount for the antenna is still on the tire stop if you'd like I could take a pic of the mount and send them to you. :-D [addsig]

Took out the ash tray/ lighter combo in my YJ and mouted the CB there just to the left of it mounted the 2 meter setup. Mounted the antennas on drill through ball mounts above each tailight on the rear. There are several antenna mounts you could use. Most people don't like drilling holes in their body. But in my case I guess I just gotta say Its a Ham thing you might not understand :-D Who knows maybe I need to break out the cam and take a few pics

I got it from the CB store, that's in the truck stop. I can't find it online though. It's mounted to the transmission cover and all I used was self tapping screws. The hard part is that the bracket is set up to mount to a flat surface. You have to bend the flanges, slightly, to form to the transmission hump. For the power, I used one of those special clips that form around the spade part of a fuse and plugged it in. As for the antenna, I mounted it to the side of the Jeep. Others prefer to use the tire stop.

I'll go double check the price and we can figure out how to get it to you.
