changing trans fluid manual transmission

get a fluid drain pan, open the drain plug, drain the fluid, then open the fill plug and using a fluid pump, refill the transmission with fluid. By the way, if you have a T-4 or T-5, the manual calls for ATF which is rare for a manual transmission, but Jasper Engines & Transmissions says to use 30W motor oil which I have been doing for years now and it works very well. Quiets the trans down a lot and keeps the gears and synchros in good shape.[addsig]
