I went with an orginal replacement clutch. Consider the slave cylinder while you are in there! Tug[addsig]

if you feel like spending the money... and you like performance and smoothness... centerforce is the best in my eyes... they use patented technology to ensure better grip and ease of use. though.... if just using your jeep for moderate or daily driving... the stock replacement is just fine... chances are... if you are NOT going extreme with your vehicle.. the stock replacement is for you... BUT.. while you have your clutch out... look into an inertia ring... either price one from the internet, or have one machined.... if you are not familiar with them... its simply a heavy ring of extra metal added to your flywheel to add momentum (inertia) to the torque action[addsig]

4.2L?...keep the stock replacement...i've tried centerforce...it definetly grabs better, but doesn't last any longer for a proce so high,...plus it's a bitch getting the bellhousing over them if your coming in from below with it...they're much bigger...the stock one i had last lasted 7 yrs with moderate off roading and when i replaced it it was still grabbing!...def stay stock...but don't forget to change your pilot bearing...i know it's more work, and a pain in the rear, but it makes a big difference....good luck...[addsig]

During rebuild I upgraded to a larger diameter clutch. It's the OE clutch used in the V-8 trucks and Cherokees. It's an 11" instead of the 10.5". A little more surface area. My old clutch was still working after 10 years and lots of miles. YES a new pilot bushing is recommended and YES it can be a pain![addsig]
