Was wondering if I could get some feed back from members?
At about what milage have you replaced your clutch?
I have a 94 YJ approching 97K and it has the original clutch still. I have been know to ride the clutch a little to often when wheelin' but I take it a bit more easy around the city. If you have replaced the clutch what brands do you recomend for a YJ.
I had a centerforce in my 77 blazer but hated it, too grabby, and only lasted about 20K miles. Are jeeps similar?
Thanks all

I've replaced several YJ clutches, and the best is a stock LUK clutch. You can get a kit for a real good price at Carolina Clutch. I've got 86K with the stock clutch, and they can last a lot longer. Just wait until it starts slipping, then replace it. It's not hard to do if you have 1) A garage, or 2) A concrete surface and warm dry weather.

You're lucky you have a '94, as '94 and newer have the external cutch slave which lasts longer and you don't have to drop the transmission to replace it :-D [addsig]

I have a local Clutch rebuilder here in my area that does a great job and is cheap. So I just go to him and it is about an hour wait to get the flywheel refaced and clutch rebuilt. I can't tell you how many miles were on the clutch cause it was used when I bought it and am sure it was not orgianl! Tug[addsig]
