Coil swap/lift question

I have a 97 ZJ Laredo and need a little more room other than the small 2 inch budget boost lift I have

I have heard that the front coils can be replaced by the supposedly taller coils on the limited model because of the heavier v8 The existing front coils then replace the back coils, it seems like it should work if the coils on the limited are taller,

is this true and/or would this work??

I don't kmow about on the jeep but when I had my bronco I used the coils off a f250 and it lifted it about 3 - 4 inches but the f250 is a much larger and heavier vehicle the the bronco and the v8 really won't weigh much more then the 6 cyl maybe 100 pounds but I really doubt even that. Let me know what u figure out. I'm gonna use 4 inch pucks until I find something else.

The coils from a v8 model are no longer best bet is go to your local spring shop and ask for a set of cargo coils give you about 2.5- 3" of lift and I believe a set of 4 is around $200 or opt for a bigger lift
