Dana 27 axle weakest points

What is the weakest part on the Dana 27 axle? What is the first part that usaly brakes?:bomb: The first part to go on mine was the spider gears. I put it under alot of force. by pulling a stuck buggy that was stuck on top of a raser back sand dune. I was on top of the dune. The buggy was jamed on a 60 degree raser back. I was only digging in deep into the sand. Then:bomb: spiders went. A guy with a 6000 pound Doge turbo dizel to yank it out.

closed knuckle shafts. Assuming you stick with a stock-ish motor, L head or F head, even locked with 34" tires, you will be fine.
