Did 79' CJ-7s have computers?

I'm considering buying a 1979 (according to the VIN) CJ-7 That has been parked for at least 5 years outside. It was originally a straight six but now has a 304. I noticed two sets of white nylon plugs (6 pin & 10 pin) on a bracket attached to the outboard battery tray support. My question is did 79's have computers and what are these plugs for? I rebuilt a 77' CJ-5 many years ago and it didn't have anything like that under the hood Thanks, Robert

Those plugs may go to the ignition module.those jeeps run ford ignition systems
