My Jeep stopped dead half way out of the gate this morning. It is absolutely dead, no sign of trying to start.
The OBD1 flashing light system pointed at the pickup coil in the distributor. There are plenty to be found on the net from a very expensive Crown one to not so expensive Shanghai ones. They all look identical.
It is part number 5602 7023, which is embossed onto the disc.
I want to know how to test the one I have got. It has three wires. I can't find anything on YouTube other than two wire ones. Can anyone help with that?
Because of the delay that I always suffer getting bits sent here to Spain, does anyone have a spare they could let me have or point me to where I can find one. Money will of course have to change hands. I have no car at present and food will need to be replenished soon.
I live in the wilds so a car is vital.
