I have never been able to find a technical website like this before and now that I have found it...I just can't stay away. So anyway, I am looking for an inexpensive moderate lift and wondering how high I have to go for which size tires and at what levels, what I would be capable of doing. My YJ is fun to drive and get dirty, but I want to make it a bit bigger but still be able to travel the 60 miles daily without worrying about tipping or stopping to fill up the tank (don't we all want to know). I want to be on the brink of serious dirt, but not totally destroy the on-road ability. Also, I can barely afford the lift and tires, so any other major upgrades would be out of the question. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to www.jeepyj.net click on project how tos and look for How Much Lift? Chart gives a real good breakdown of lift types and heights for particular tire sizes.
